Another long and busy one

We started off with a slightly lazier morning, heading for breakfast around 9am, where we were lucky enough to meet one of the Efteling fairies! They don’t advertise it as a character breakfast, but you do sometimes get them floating about.

Weather in the park was a bit drizzly and overcast, so we did the rest of the Fairy Tale Forest, and a couple of rides, before grabbing some lunch, and deciding to go out and explore the greater area. Some of the architecture here gorgeous. We also found a supermarket to stock up on Stroopwafels and a few other Dutch treats!

The main goal this evening was to see the Aquanura Fountain show that they do instead of fireworks. At this time of year, it’s still daylight, but we were at the right angle that the sun was casting rainbows into the spray. I’d love to come back and see it when it’s dark out, so the show is illuminated though – we probably will need a winter visit for that.

Tomorrow is our last full day, the week is flying by!
