Park day, dinner and the show that almost wasn’t
Early start today, taking advantage of early entry to get Fata Morgana ridden before the park officially opened. I had hoped to add Danse Macabre to that, too, but it was down all day due to “technical difficulties”. So not happy! But we got a few others, including The Flying Dutchman and George and the Dragon done instead.
We headed back to the hotel mid-afternoon, and had a couple of hours downtime before going back to the park, and Pinokkio’s for dinner. This is the Italian restaurant next to the Efteling Theatre, which was our next stop. Caro is a fantastic show, I think we’ve seen it every trip we’ve had the chance, and will continue to do so! It almost didn’t happen, though. Just after the first number, they “paused” the show due to technical difficulties with the audio. Took about half an hour, but thankfully they got it back up and running again!
Tomorrow is a mostly non-park day, but we’re still trying to decide what we want to do!
